Presents, Memes, and TMI.
Dec. 11th, 2003 08:25 amThe Redheads and I all went to the mall last night to buy each other presents. You see, we were all too poor to buy anyone else presents, which is why I made three pounds of soap and we threw a holiday party instead. So we got to the mall, had a bite to eat, and went our separate ways. Me. In a mall. With a new paycheck. It was so hard not to just focus on a new wardrobe. :) But we reconviened as the mall closed, went home, and switched presents. The best part was how we wasted no time wrapping things, so this should be our new tradition.
I gave Rac a pretty pink princess-type shirt and matching dangly earrings for her trip to Australia, and Heather gave her Bush's Sixteen Stone, which she's wanted more or less forever. And that I want to copy to my computer. :)
I gave Heather an adult-ish layer shirt that shall forever be known as "boobie shirt!" and a cream and a mini of her favorite sugar scrub from Bath & Body Works. I even grabbed a sugar scrub for me (Sandalwood Rose,) 'cuz guhhhhh. Mmm. Rac gave her Homer Simpson slippers and Spree candy canes.
And as for me, I got Buffy season 4 for us to watch over January Term, a cool little candleholder, and a Bettie Page poster to adorn my walls.
