Astronomers believe that habitable planets circle the star, so any creatures living there will eventually get an invitation to enjoy the crunchy corn goodness that so many earthlings have sampled. May it inspire you to formulate an "advertisement" for yourself and your specialties that will spread far and wide, reaching a new audience and activating your future potentials.

Last night, J played his first pickup hockey game. As some of you might recall, our relationship began at a hockey rink, that fateful night with the margaritas and the truthiness and the bleacher cuddling. He's finally taken the plunge and bought all the gear and is learning to skate and play and be all manly and stuff. After dinner, we headed to the rink, and I came armed with ear warmers, hat, fingerless gloves, boyfriend sweater, a blanket to sit on, my computer to work on the update, and a steaming thermos full of Vosges chili pepper hot chocolate. I cheered for the really tall dude, as that was the way I was most easily able to pick J out (he's 6'6" in his skates). I got 98% of all the administrative stuff for tonight's update done... tonight after Jenny leaves, everything will be uploaded. I'm gonna estimate no later than 10pm EST.

We got back from the rink at around midnight, showered, and I watched the debate on repeat on CNN. Okay... a) "That one." b)HAIR TRANSPLANTS?? c) I am totally done with McCain intentionally misrepresenting Obama's tax plan, and d) JOHN MCCAIN, I AM NOT YOUR FRIEND. Overall, I thought it was a modest win for Obama, who was steady, knowledgeable, and articulate throughout the night with much fewer personal attacks. And, who I might add, looked like he could walk across the stage without fear of falling over. I'm glad the polls are reflecting this.

In other news, brrrr. I am cold.
