Busy-ness.
Mar. 20th, 2011 08:58 pmIEEE, the Big Love finale is in less than 10 minutes! It must be on my mind, as I totally had a dream last night that I was watching it, and Nicki died.
ANNNNNYHOW. I just finished up about 25 new pieces for the Effervescence line of resin jewelry. My plan is to develop the line for shows and craft fairs-- I can price it reasonably, duplicate it easily, and save some of my more intricate OOAK wirework for a display case-- since it's definitely a hihger ticket thing. I did some tropical colors (berry/soft orange/topaz), some softer spring colors (olive/green/teal/topaz), and I'm going to do another batch of the bright teal/leaf green/yellow from the original run. Maaaaybe an experiment of shades of all blue.
Other than that, I just ordered a ton of soy wax. I've been tinkering with fragrance blends again... I have several that I think will make excellent candles. I reformulated Amas (cream, lemon, rose) from last year, and am going to do a new version of Beltane for this year. Other than that, I have to pick three others from the blends I'm working on... should I pick the woody amber vanilla? Or the succulent plumeria floral? Or the grassy, minty lime? Or the one that smells like one of my very favorite desserts? :)
Okay, okay... gotta run! Big Love time!
