Spoutwood reminder
Apr. 28th, 2011 01:33 pmA reminder to those who asked me to post one:
The Faerie Ring Dance Collective (aka, the almost-named Transcendence Tribal Bellydance Collective) will be performing twice on Saturday, once on Sunday.
We have one "wandering" gig at 2pm, and one stage show at 5pm on the Royal Maypole stage. We are a group of 10 dancers from various troupes (Kallisti, Verve, Lilam, Hip'notic, Sammati, & soloist Lyra), and we will mostly be performing ATS-based improv. Group numbers, solos, duets, & trios. The Verve improv sword piece will be in the 5pm Saturday set. All sets are 45 minutes-ish with a audience dance finale.
We will also be doing a 6-dancer "wandering" set at 2pm on Sunday. I'll be soloing then.
I also am hyped about seeing Telesma. I think there's scuttlebutt that the lovely ladies of Indra Lazul bellydance (Telesma's house dancers) have asked us to come dance with the crowd if we have any energy. I'm not 100% sure about that, as I heard secondhand, but considering they usually encourage crowd dancing, I will probably go there if I can. Plus, I love to see them dance. Best smiles-- they always look so radiant.
I will probably do much more wandering on Sunday, as my Saturday seems like it's going to be pretty schedule oriented. Hope to see you there!
