The Yule update is LIVE!! GAAAH!
Ordered::
Frost Moon:: Available from noon til midnight, 27 October 2004. The chill, crystal-bright Full Moon that is harbinger to the death of the year, and a monument to the snowy, dead months to come. A blend of traditional lunar oils frozen with winter mints, shivering eucalyptus, clear lotus, a gust of wind, and a midnight aquatic note. I'm a little wary, as I don't always do eucalyptus & aquatics, but if I don't like it, I can always swap it.
Snow White:: A chilly, bright perfume: flurries of virgin snow, crisp winter wind and the faintest breath of night-blooming flowers. EEEEEE!
Rose Red:: The perfected winter rose, dew covered and freshly cut. I've heard so much about this one. I'm very very curious.
6 imp's ears:: Virgo, Carnation single note, Lampades, Bathsheba, Carnivale x 2.
To Be Ordered with 11/4 Paycheck::
Mid-winter's Eve:: A melancholy, deep scent, poignant and brimming with nostalgia. The perfume of sugared plums over a breeze of winter flowers.
Ice Queen:: A majestic blend of precious pale musks, brittle winter blossoms, spruce, and frozen winter fruits. This sounds like Winter's version of Titania. Plus I love the fairytale. Again, EEEE!
Skadi:: The Snow-Shoe Goddess, Giantess, the Norse embodiment of winter. Frost-rimed winter berries, crisp pine needle, and a slush of bright snowy notes.
I'll Swap For Imps Of::
Gingerbread Poppet:: Warm, cozy gingerbread spiced with nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. I already have one Gingerbread oil, but it's not BPAL. I don't wear it a lot, so I figure an imp will suffice.
Hearth:: Sweet pipe tobacco, cherry wood, the warm, worn leather of an easy chair and a pleasant, subtle waft of fireplace smoke.
Mistletoe:: The plant of peace in Norse tradition. If enemies met in the forest and came upon a sprig, they laid down their arms and observed a truce until the next sunrise. This might be too green for me to wear a whole lot, but I want to sniff it!
Yuletide:: The juice of ripe, bursting, blood red holly berries.
Sugar Cookie:: Affectionately nicknamed 'The Devil's Bake Sale'.
