Hmmm, it's got over a full ounce of sterling in it, and sterling is $35/oz right now. Add to that garnets, plus time-- I'd part with the necklace for $165, though it's probably worth a bit more.

The earrings are $39.

My god, that's GORGEOUS.

I was never officially in the art department at IU, but I took a lot of metals classes and got to know the work of all the BFAs and MFAs there. And no offense to any of them, and they sometimes did lively work. But I think, design-wise, that you soundly kick their asses. Wow.
