I have been really lazy about updating as of late. Partially because I've been feeling a little boring with nothing substantial to report, and partially because, as usual, I've been buried in work. I decided to do two smallish updates in July instead of a big one, because there are going to be three huge ones coming up for Autumn/Halloween. All of the materials for planned pieces have been purchased, but I'm sure inspiration will hit and I'll end up picking up a few more odds and ends. Plus another shipment of PMC, as that stuff is expensive, and I only bought enough for about half of the things in my sketchbook. Silver continues to be about $37 raw, which works out to around $44/oz for me. That's down a little bit, but still twice as expensive as it was this time last year.

But here's a sampling of the 30 items I put up today:

The Enchantments of Elfland II

The Enchantments of Elfland I

Faery Foliage bracelet

Persephone Descending

The Hidden Pentacle

Midsummer Faeries

This weekend was an active and fun one. On Saturday, [livejournal.com profile] tamnonlinear took me on a tour of her woods, and I got to pet those of her kitties who would tolerate it (Ten & Tenshi). We followed it up with seeing the final HP in theaters with Jason, and suffice it to say that a certain moment featuring Neville was far and away my favorite. Sunday, Jason and I hiked loops B & C of Billy Goat Trail in Great Falls. I'd like to do loop A next week, because there's a neat 40 foot tall climbing section, but that depends on whether or not J can get new hiking boots in time. Overall, I walked/hiked 15 miles and felt pretty good about it.

Tomorrow will be spent packing orders, returning emails that are woefully overdue, and then kicking back with a book and resting my brain. I was up until 3:30 writing copy last night, and then I worked pretty solidly 10am - 8:30 pm today. I deserve a half day tomorrow. :)

Would it be possible to remake Persephone Descending?

Yes. Oh, and Maddy's necklace is done. I just have to antique it!

Yay! She'll be happy to get it! (Would it be possible to get a picture of it after it's antiqued?)
Also, would it be possible to re-make, "Little Twig"?

*ETA - Enjoy your day off!

I will shoot a picture your way on Thursday.

And yes, I can remake Little Twig, but I'll have to reorder a component. The price might be slightly higher, as the price of silver has risen since I bought the twig I used in the one I posted.

Gold (and silver) have been spiking lately. People are seeing bonds as less reliable thanks to the debt ceiling debacle, and seeking safe shelter in actual THINGS.

Gold and silver have been spiking since December. They hit their high so far this year in April. But yeah, I know. There are some other smaller factors, but more or less people are nervous about the worth of American currency right now.

:adores persephone descending, and realizes the name makes no sense without the red, but wonders about something similar with blue or purple...
