I'm so frustrated with my computer, I might cry.

It took my half an hour to check my email, which was under 10 messages full. One, because the internet service here is shit and I had to hit refresh half a bazillion times due to the 'cannot find server' message. It should not be that hard for our school to have decent access. We don't even have two thousand people on campus, including faculty. Grr.

And of course, my computer shut down twice in the process. I'm going to do that French paper in the library today, seeing how I actually did start it last night, only to have the computer wipe it all out after I tried to hit save once the first few paragraphs were done. I almost threw the damn monitor out the window.

The bright side:: I have the best boyfriend ever. He's coming up to fix it tonight, boot disk and all. I can't live like this. It's driving me absolutely batshit.

Why'd you even bother to try and write the paper on your puter when you know it would shut down? Batshit's a new way of life to me, sounds interesting. :) You'll feel better on Saturday, if you don't tonight. :)

my computer's been all virus-y lately as well. it doesn't want to open some programs, i can't get the task manager opened, and it wouldn't let me watch my porn yesterday. >_<

i also wanted to bug you about atraktiv for a second. i have some member photos plus some of the community background photos in my fotki still. i wanted to transfer them over to the photobucket account but you never gave me the password after i e-mailed you. e-mail me (efface@livejournal.com) the pw and i'll put them all in there for you, ok love?

alright, i uploaded all the atraktiv photos i had in my fotki. i'm not a mod anymore, so i can't change the picture links, so i'm just going to go ahead and leave my atraktiv album up for a week so you or someone else has time to change the links. the pictures are for the actual layout itself, and there are some for some of the members on the userinfo page.

I also completely sympathize with your computer problems. You might end up having to call a priest ("The power of Christ compels you!"). At work, I have to deal with a Win95 machine. Like work isn't hard enough without obsolete hardware getting in the way.
