Have you ever seen a journal where the person is so much of an asshat that you pray to god it's a troll journal?

Just... yeah. I'm going to stay away from friendsfriends for awhile.

LJ puts a modern version of "freedom of the press" back in the hands of the common people. unfortunately, the common people are dumber than a box of rocks in mud.

You just broke e-rule number 97532:

Never reference something in such a way that arouses curiosity WITHOUT posting a rassin'frassin' link.

Hate you so much.

e-rule # 97532 is one of the most important fundamental rules in existence. I have a T-shir that says: "Remember and Honor E-Rule # 97,532. It guides us and makes us happy."

Well, since the person shares two friends with me, I decided that I wouldn't out of simple un-willingness to cause teh DRAMEH!you know? But seriously, my mind, it boggles.

Sorry, my journal isn't a troll journal. Stop talkin' shit 'bout me!

Yup, and I just got banned from it.

You seem interesting, so I'm adding you. Thanks for the well thought out defenses, by the way. Sometimes when you're upset, it's nice to have someone else there who can say everything you want to, only better.

You're welcome. He was being completely unfair, and it just crossed a line with me, I guess. Being a moderator myself, I know how irritating it is for others to cross those lines.

I friend back kind of slowly-- I like to read a lot of others' journals first. But I hope you enjoy mine! :)

I mod a couple of communities and several e-mail lists, so, yeah, I know what it's like to be the mod and have people cross those lines. I'm usually pretty easy going, so it surprised me to be banned over so.... small.

I don't usually care if people don't friend me back. I'm aware that in general I ramble pointlessly. I friended you because you write intelligently and about subjects which interest me. I'm friends with people in real life who can't do half as well. ;)

...basically. The whole situation is simply frustrating. Maybe you can recommend to me an alternate community?

Wiccan in general, or challenging Wicca?

Challenging Wicca. Complacency is never a good thing, IMHO.

Then this mod cordially invites you to join her Wiccan community, [livejournal.com profile] wiccanwitches. Shaking things up is not considered a bad thing. I welcome the challenges within my community. Drop by and read the community profile; if you like what you see, you're welcome there.

By the way... I just surfed back to see if any additional comments had been made, and I still see it posted at 15 comments. However, when I posted a reply to [livejournal.com profile] this_is_warmth, I found that my comments were being screened. Is this a new thing for the community, or are dissenters being quieted? According to [livejournal.com profile] daemonnoire, the same thing is happening to her.

Me also. My personal POV is that comments are being screened by [livejournal.com profile] this_is_warmth. Her beloved, [livejournal.com profile] neven, whose Friend list I've been on forever, dropped me without explanation shortly after they became engaged. I also see she suddenly came out as the "big guns" when we questioned him on [livejournal.com profile] summoning_wicca. My thoughts are that he's slowly being weaned from any friendliness with Wiccans, and that they didn't like our responses.

...wow. I'm amazed and disgusted at the same time.

By the way, I joined [livejournal.com profile] wiccanwitches and will post an intro later today.
