Farscape update

sihayadesignsSo, last night, Heather and I covered Taking The Stone, Crackers Don't Matter, The Way We Weren't, Picture If You Will, Home On The Remains, and Out Of Their Minds.
Taking the Stone:
Some good J/A interaction going on.
John: Be nice.
Aeryn: I'm not good at nice.
John: Just don't shoot her.
John: Aeryn, what the hell is wrong with you? You are the pin up girl for frontal assault. You should be dragging her back to the ship yourself.
Pin up girl for frontal assault. Junior Miss Tough Chick of the Universe. I love it.
Other than that, it was an average ep, with John realizing he can't be Mr. White Knight, Take Charge, Save The Day all the time. Also, cool Chiana hair a bonus. The social commentary was a bit weird, with the cult of the young and such. I don't quite understand the real-world equivalent other than drug users in general, and those of the "live fast, die pretty" persuasion. I do like the commentary of how Chiana handles loss and her need to experience things. Um, but otherwise, I just had a hard time keeping all of the terminology straight in my head. This might be because I was multitasking.
Crackers Don't Matter
John: The ionic radiation gives her photogasms, unless she's faking it. They can do that. Hey, Zhaan, you faking it? Hee!
Also? Still not over the whole Zhaan being a plant thing. Um-- plants don't have central nervous systems, but okay, okay. Futuristic suspension of disbelief. How does she reproduce? Through Union? But that's too spiritual. I'm so confused.
John: Gilligan and Mary Ann. Maybe you're Ginger. I'd have to see you in a Wonderbra to know. Ehehehehe.
Aeryn cackling with the gun to her head. Must. Make. Icon.
Scorpius: Go on. Kill her. Then we'll have pizza and margarita shooters. Do it. Do it.
John: Nobody has margaritas with pizza.
Scorpius in the "Hawaii 50" Hawaiian shirt. "Finish him. Then we can go to that little Italian place I know." Gahhhha. Plus John's little pop culture references never get old.

Aeryn: Oh it's perfectly fine to cut off one of it's arms then is it Zhaan? ZING!
Lots of good backstory-- I even gasped when Aeryn sold out Broody Peacekeeper Hunk for prowler detail. Poor guy. Also? Aeryn+Pilot, OTP.
Aeryn: You know that time when he asked me to go with him, he said "You can be so much more". That's exactly what you said to me on the first day I was here.
John: And you say you think you love this man?
*silence* *significant look* *repeat about ten times*

I'm skipping Picture If You Will and Home on the Remains. I half paid attention. They were okay, but not particularly memorable.

Chiana-in-D'Argo = Gay D'Argo. So funny seeing Chiana's weird posturing in D'Argo's huge body. And also? D'Argo's fingers felt up Chrichton's cock. That is slash of the bad kind, people.
John checking out the Aeryn-body's boobies. I could have died right then and there. Seriously. I love Claudia Black. LOVE. She was by far the best at mimicking the other actors.

So, I'm getting more into it. I even had a dream and Crichton was in it. So, I'm sinking into the fandom, slowly. I'm afraid to join any of the icon communities, though. I don't want to be spoiled. I enjoy picking out the screencaps that everybody uses though. :)
Only the "Main," link on Farscape-Caps.Com is working for me-- all of the other buttons in the navbar still take me to the index page. Is my computer being weird?
