Incredibly obnoxious pet owner.
Sep. 7th, 2004 10:09 pmYes, I am one of those extremely obnoxious pet owners. I love my boys, I do. I find them infinitely fascinating-- I even talk to them, because I don't care what you say-- they each have their own personality. They do.

Okay. Not so much a fight, but Sashimi has been sulking lately, and so I moved him near Sasha to get some more exercise for a little while. He's my next project-- he's getting bigger, so I'm upgrading his bowl the next time I get to the pet store. But anyway, back to the flaring match.

Watch out for Sasha when he's pissed off. He rants around like a flaming queen. Note the puffy gills. Yep, you best watch yo'self, girlfriend. *snap* He is so prettier than you!

I was just glad that I caught him flaring for once so I could get a shot of his true coloration.

And of course, a shot of the ever-elusive Sashimi.

I'm pleased to say that Sushi hasn't bitten himself in a week or so, so his tail is slowly beginning to creep back in. That's the good news. The strange news is that the tips appear to be red. It could be interesting.

Scout continues to recover from his bout with fungal misery. His tail is healing, too, and the patches where the fuzz was are now tiny pink patches where the scales are healing.

Also, the lilies bloomed some more. Check out the incredibly large lilies.
Also, my hair is now tiger-stripe blonde. It goes from ruddy golden blonde to platinum in streaks. I think I like it. Anyway-- 4 more apartment meetings tonight before I can hit the hay.

Date: 2004-09-07 07:46 pm (UTC)Yeah. For a proper fishy fight, you need to watch the end of the Xena episode The Quill Is Mightier.
Except try to ignore my incredibly lame eel-chakram hit. I can't believe they put that take in... I'm sure one of the others must have been been better!
