Hopefully it will be a good day. I've got class, voice, class, work... duty. But still-- I checked the UPS shipping thingy, and my package should get here today! *crosses fingers*
Jake, I barely remember you calling last night! I was so asleep-- not to mention a complete wino last night. I hope I made a modicum of sense. I should be available tonight between 5-9 EST. Don't die!
And, somewhat related, I got a new fishie on the advice of one Mr. Christopher Turco. His name? Ivan. Hurricane Ivan, Ivan the Terrible. But currently-- Ivan the wimpy. He was fine in the store, flashing around, building a huge bubblenest. Here, he's been a complete 'fraidy-cat. He swims backwards every time I come near.
He's really pretty, though. He's got a bright blue/teal body and burgundy crowntail fins. I took pictures, but I won't have time to post them until this afternoon.
...And! I can't wait until midnight! LALALALALA!

Date: 2004-09-17 08:21 am (UTC)Well, I'm taking off in a couple hours to drive to Nashville to visit friends from Florida who went there to escape Ivan the Terrible (their house is still standing, btw). Anyway, I'll be gone all weekend, so I won't be here tomorrow to tell you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! Good grief - I remember my 21st well - it's scary to think it was 15 years ago! I'M SO DAMNED OLD! hehe Oh well, 'm still young at heart - after all, I'm now planning a year-long around-the-world trip. That makes me a little younger, doesn't it? Of course, the trip may age me 5 years! ;)
Anyway, have a wonderful birthday. (and don't forget to brush up on that alcohol poisoning card you got! har har) ;)
