Has anyone ever ordered from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab? I was browsing LJs in a valiant effort to not do my homework when I came across the link, and the corresponding livejournal, alchemylab. Everyone seems very pleased, not to mention you get tons of samples when you buy the products.

Some of the scents look absolutely wonderful. Hmmm. I smell potential presents for my female friends this Yule.

For $16 (+5 shipping), you can pick 6 samples, and you more or less get a few more in freebies. I could do a monthly thing. It would be fun.

One of my good friends orders from them all the time. Shipping's a little slow--they're a small operation--but she's wearing Black Phoenix scents almost exclusively now, and I'm pretty fond of the ones she's passed on to me.

Hullo...I saw you post in the BPAL community and wandered over to your journal and found your entries to be quite interesting...Hope it's ok that I added you.

I ordered imps from BPAL (I ordered 12 and they sent me 24 extra free!) and received them in two weeks and I'm in Scotland so for International shipping that's pretty spiffy. The majority of the scents are beautiful but I nearly threw up when I smelled "Zombi"...The only one out of 36 though, so pretty good odds there. Black Rose = <3

I'm buying 13 of the imps at the stroke of midnight-- when there's money in my account. It seems like a fun "collect-em-all" type thing, and I'm excited. They say on the forums that shipping is 3-6 weeks because of the work involved, but you tend to get lots of freebies with your order.

Okay, so I'm waffling. As of now, I'm getting the 5 oz. of Samhain because everybody and their mother is cooing about it, plus imps of

Aureus, Blood Amber, Hamadryad, Jack, Scherezade, The Hesperides, Black Rose, Darkness, Haunted, Twilight, Cathedral, 0, Unseelie, Juliet, Old Dublin, & Morgause.

Plus they're coming out with Hunter Moon next week. I doubt I'll have enough money for it, though, and the monthly moon scents sell out even quicker than the sabbat oils-- we're talking in 12 hours or less!

Also, check the forums and the lj group-- when people post their orders received, they generally get between 3-6 free imps, but sometimes as much as 12!
