Ok, but does James Carville not kind of look like Voldemort?
I'm not saying he's evil (he's on my side), or even that he reminds me of Voldie once he starts talking (somehow not picturing teh dark lord with a wacky southern accent) but I mean, honestly, I've never seen a man resemble a snake so much.

The worst part about talking to the barking mad is that after a while you start thinking that maybe you're the one who is barking mad. I'm still trying to work up the courage to return the phone call from my friend who has active schizophrenia (I knew her when she was sane, but the relationship is a little strained these days) and have decided that I'm waiting until after the election so she will hopefully not scream at me about how Kerry is in league with her ex-fiance (whom she never met in person) to send her letters disguised as spam email and steal things from her computer.

Out of cheese error.

I had icon perfect for this post. The little girl from Signs, but alas I cannot find it. We will all just have to pretend that my lucy icon is just as appropiate.

*giggle* Last time it was supposed ballot tampering... this time round, if Bush wins, they'll claim they were under a spell and not in control of thier actions.
Puhleese.
These are very likely the same people who cannot own thier opinions.

Well, last time a lot of it WAS ballot tampering and fraud, but I get your point. :P

Perhaps so, perhaps not *shrug* frankly, neither would surprise me...
I've always had a sneaking suspicion that in the last US election, a lot of people might have been under the false impression that they could vote by osmosis.

That's so true. Illegally, there was incredible tampering with Florida (torn up ballots, minorities being unduly turned away, etc.), but the biggest problem the US faced was undoubtedly voter apathy.

Exactly why I don't read that community, or the wicca community anymore. I am so turned off by other Pagans it is a miracle I haven't turned Buddhist yet.

Gotta say....

If people are claiming one candidate has a mandate from God (and you can't swing a dead cat without finding Christians who think bush is the anointed one), I guess it follows pretty logicaly that candidates would be using black magic.

I guess next we'll need to exorcise something...
