Painted potential Yule presents.

Had good Mexican food.

Watched The Whole 9 Yards, The Whole 10 Yards, Wonderboys, Ju-On, Hidalgo, Practical Magic, Best in Show, and Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back.

Began to wheeze. Karyn, I think I caught your Black Plague.

Meh.
*yawn*

I *love* your icon. ...so, what did you think of Whole Nine Yards and Ju-on?

Thanks. :)

TW9Y is funny in a really quirky way-- I enjoyed it. Sadly, Ju-On was not nearly as freaksome as I wanted it to be (except maybe when the spectre clibs down the stairs cockroach-style). I might see The Grudge, but only because I like popcorn movies.

Ahhhhh, Jay and Silent Bob... "It is YOU who are the ball-lickers!"

I may have mentioned this already, but if you get the chance be sure to rent And Evening with Kevin Smith. Its HILARIOUS! :)

Was the Ju-On you saw the one where a woman went to the house in the beginning?

It seems everyone else always watches that one, which is sad because I think the "low-budget" version is much scarier (in that version the first person shown to go to the house is a man). ;___; That version has Chiaki Kuriyama, too! *waves the fangirl flag* But I guess it's not as easy to find...

There are multiple versions? I thought there were only sequels. Weird Japanese. I didn't recognize Chiaki, but then again, I, in my typical Western-centric way, had a difficult time distinguishing between all of the girls. I think I saw the one where the woman comes first, and her name was Rika. Does that make any sense?

Oh, now that I think about it... Maybe the mainstream one is a sequel for the low-budget one, but the person I got the movies from just talked about two different versions and not sequels... But he could've just forgotten to mention it. Confusing!!

Anyway, yes, that makes sense! That's the mainstream version. Chiaki wasn't in the movie you watched. :)

The Whole 10 Yards

As terrible as I expect?

Actually, it was funny in its own, quirky way. Quirkier than the first, even. And Lazlo is hysterical.
