I'm going to be late to the programming meeting I called in the first place. Bah. If I have to here Phil whine for even five minutes, I might just whack him myself. He thinks he's quitting because "other RAs don't do their jobs, so why should I?" Which, of course, is whiny loser shorthand for "I don't like the job, and I'm too much of a baby to admit that's why I'm leaving." I'm certainly not going to try to cajole him into staying on. He's voiced his dissent at inappropriate times, called many parts of the job "juvenile" (because in reality, he's over 15 years past traditional college age), and half of the dissent he so adamantly and persistently voiced was purely unneeded. You cannot do a job well while you look down your nose at it, and that is the real problem here. So, in short, ta. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out, you know?

One of my BPAL packages came today-- this one from [livejournal.com profile] belladonnastrap. I currently have Dia De Los Muertos on in all its chocolatey tobacco goodness. But I must say, Sugar Skull smells amazing, and All Saint's is one of the most beautiful florals I've ever smelled. Plus a few others that I practically swooned over. I'm still waiting on my Mabon swap, wondering if I shouldn't kick the post office a few times. I need my blackberry-ivy goodness!

So, tonight-- curling up with a warm blanket, some tea, and working on letters. Also, trying not to die, because my roommies have termed my illness the "cough-of-death."

Gah. Okay. RA-ish stuff.

Huh. The Mabon should be there... If it doesn't show up in the next couple of days, let me know, okay? Otherwise, yay for good smelling stuff. :)

I will definitely let you know if it's not here by Thursday or so. Karyn's swap took longer than expected-- maybe the USPS is running slow?
Do you use postal tracking at all?

It's not just the USPS, it's the US in general... ;)

Hehehe!

Actually, I don't use postal tracking, so I have no clue where it's at right now. But I figure that if it doesn't show up then I can just refund you the money. Still, I'd prefer it did show up, cause you seem to like that scent a lot.

I do indeed like the scent a lot. But I'm not going to make you refund me if it doesn't show. Maybe we can work out a future swap or something, but really, it's not your fault at all.
