The Gratiae speak
Feb. 23rd, 2005 11:35 pmMy horoscope for the week:
Virgo: To be in maximum alignment with the cosmic trends, go to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam and commune with the painting "Peach Tree in Blossom" while sipping peach blossom wine and thinking deep thoughts about the parts of you that are like peach blossoms. Here's another possibility: Travel to a place where actual peach blossoms are blooming and meditate on why the Chinese consider this flower the most auspicious of plants. If you can't manage either of those actions, Virgo, please at least find images of peach blossoms on the Internet and gaze at them as you muse fondly of the delicate young aspects of your life that most need your love and care.
This is interesting to me simply because I was planning out my order for the BPAL Chaste Moon update, which should be live by the time I wake tomorrow morning. In my last order, I received a sample of Algaea and fell instantly in love. It's fresh and full of the mirror-bright vitality of Spring. It's the scent of sweetest fruit nectar dripping down your chin after your first indulgent bite. I've been debating all day wether or not to purchase a bottle. I'd resolved to buy Algaea if Chaste Moon didn't appeal to me, since the last few lunar oils have been not up my particular alley. After reading my horoscope, I believe Algaea and I were meant to be.
Algaea-- Splendour. Three golden ambers, bright musk, peach wine and myrtle.
