It's only Wednesday, and my bottle of rum is nearing empty. Yeah. Changes are ahead. Good changes, but stessful changes, at least for a month or so. I know that in two months, I'll probably be far less frustrated with certain aspects of my life, so the growing pains will be worth it. Lots of changes are coming, actually. In waves, but I've got a game plan. My life will look very different at the end of next year. I'm looking forward to it.

Just a reminder that I'll be having a drink to celebrate my birthday (and J's, and

hthottie's) at Faire this weekend. Mmm, raspberry wine. Not sure on the actual where/whens of it all, but I'm sure I'll see anyone interested over the course of the day.

Mmm, good dinner last night. As a side dish, I made a ton of asparagus and a lemon butter pepper sauce that was tasty. I've gotten J completely addicted to asparagus-- he requested it for his birthday, which means we'll be having it with dinner three times this week. Mmm. My body is craving fresh greens.

What would happen if you had a baby with the last person you kissed? Hopefully it's something like five years in the future, but I'm strangely okay with the idea.

Last place you hugged someone? In the parking lot at work yesterday, J and I needed mutual hugs. 'Twas a frustrating day.

Do you have a best friend? I have a small group of very trusted friends rather than a "best friend."

Do you remember what you were like a year ago? Freaking miserable and very, very angry. Check the date. Eh. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Do you use smiley faces on the computer too much? Sometimes, if I'm in a mood or talking to someone likely to take things defensively.

Have you ever changed clothes in a vehicle? Yup. Try changing out of bellydance clothes and into a dress in a car going down the highway.

Who did you last go out to eat with? Abby, Beth (?), and J-- The Cheesecake Factory before the Mira Betz show.

Do you wear glasses? Not anymore. My eyes corrected themselves.

Is the sun shining? Partly sunny, chance of rain.

Are you happy with your life right now? Most parts of it, very much so. The one thing that needs to change will, and soon.

What were you doing at 10pm Friday night? Working on the biz.

What are your plans for today? After work, I go home, finish packing orders, finish one more commission, and find my resume.

Have you ever broken someone's heart? Yes, though it was entirely unintended.

Do you find piercings on the opposite sex attractive? It depends on how well the piercing fits the person. I'm not anti-piercing.

Could you go the rest of your life without smoking a cigarette? Yup. Smoking is icky.

Is there something you dislike about the day you're having? Yes. Three guesses.

Is there anybody you're really disappointed in right now? No. There are people I have learned to have low expectations of, though. Which is a kind of disappointment.

Do you miss someone? Don't we always?

Do you watch a lot of TV? "Watch" is perhaps not the right word. I have the TV on a lot, usually playing old movies or something, while I work. I watch a few shows, but tend to catch them online.

What was the last reason you went to the doctor for? Cancer screening. Ick.

Do you think you will be in a relationship 3 months from now? Dude, I'm gonna be in a relationship three years from now. This is kinda it.

What's your favorite restaurant? At present? I don't think I have a favorite. It really depends on what I'm in the mood for.

Where were you on July 4th? Uh. Um. *checks calendar* J and I made dinner and set off fireworks in his backyard.

What woke you up this morning? Boyfriend getting up to pee.

Do you find the opposite sex confusing? I find individuals confusing.

Last time you spent the night at someone's house? I'm at J's a lot, but I'm not sure that counts. Probably Flissy's before a workshop or something.

Do you believe everyone deserves a second chance? Most people, but certainly not everyone. Sincerity is big here. As is willingness to, you know, not repeat the mistake. Sometimes you just gotta cut people out, though. It's rare, but occasionally totally necessary.

What are you gonna do after this? The same tedious crap I've been doing for the better part of the month.

Is there anything you're craving for right now? Asparagus. Rum. A nap.

Who is the most spoiled person you know? I have no idea. It's all relative, anyhow.
