My holiday break in pictures

This is the Inner Harbor on New Year's Eve. It was gorgeous, sunny, beautiful. See that hill? That's Federal Hill. I grew up only a few blocks behind it. I spent so much time at the harbor, watching the water, watching the people, losing myself in the aisles at Barnes & Noble.

December 23rd. The night of Mike's holiday party. There was tons of food-- meatballs, ham, an amazing Heath bar apple dip, cheese platters, veggie platters. And of course, lots of wine.

December 25th. Christmas breakfast at Jamie's. Clockwise: 1. My sister Andrea with Jamie's son, Jacob. 2. Jamie showing off her new pajamas. 3. My cousin Chuck and his wife, Amy with Jakey. You can't read it, but her shirt says "future rock star" with an arrow pointing down. She'd just announced that after a lot of trying, she is pregnant. 4. Andi and my brother, Matt... better known as Vomit Boy.

Christmas lunch at my aunt's house in Pennsylvania. Clockwise: 1. For some reason, we'd forsaken the actual table. L-R: Pop-Pop, my dad, Uncle JP, Aunt Linda, Mike. 2. Pops and Aunt Lin on the couch. 3. Me and the other two sibs, Danny and Melissa. 4. My father upholds the traditional game of Christmas pool.

Dec. 31st. The Inner Harbor, complete with Santa's house. This is the day that

Still New Year's Eve. Clockwise: 1. My mother's a bit of a goof. You see, these glasses are kinda like 3-D glasses, only they make all of the Christmas lights pop out into snowflake shapes, kind of like an acid trip without the drugs. She spent waaaay too much time with them on. 2. The tree. 3. My family. L-R: Mom, yours truly, Andi, Adrian, Matt. 4. New fish! We got a yellow tang, some clownfish, and this crazy neon tiger-striped Angelfish. Cool.
I think that's about it for now.
