Uneventful evening. I spent the night doodling in photoshop, rather than writing dutifully. I have some icons I'm almost happy with along the way, and I did a few more vanity-ish ones tonight, just 'cause. I need good Firefly icons, man. That, and there are these two Dirty Dancing screencaps that I've been trying for months to make into a decent icon. I just... can't. I'm to the point where I'd pay one of my favorite iconners free lj time to make something I'm happy with just because it's one of my favorite scenes ever. But anyway.

I just wanted to update with a few pics that roxyoi301 took this weekend. The risque ones were culled out because... well. Just 'cause. Even though in this case "risque" means hot girl-on-girl backrubs and me in pjs. I digress.

Tell me this guy doesn't look just freaking like John Kerry twenty years ago. We were covertly staring at him when we were eating at California Pizza Kitchen, and so we decided to be sneaky and take a picture of "Ashley" with him conveniently in the backround. Little did we know he'd actually look up.


Also, good news, ladies! My obligation on Saturday night fell through, so I'm free as a bird to be a floozy with y'all at Rac's birthday extravaganza! Woo.

My best friend, Joey [LJ username: nothing2seehere] is a HUGE Firefly fan, just like I am. Coincidentally, his daily job is to work in photoshop day in and day out. And even more coincidentally he makes Firefly icons for fun. he has a few on his info page.

I *might* be able to coax him into making one or two when he has some spare time.
