I dyed my roots last night, as I had quite the skunk stripe going on. Behold the super-blonde:



On one hand... I like that it makes my eyes look SUPER DUPER BLUE. With other shades, I get more of a hazel look. But on the other... I am very, very bored with blonde. I think I might do red soon. Or something. I am still being indecisive about it.

I'm pleased that the eating better plan is starting to show some in my face. I still have a little tummy going on, and I think that working the abdominals is really the only way to get the shape I'd like. So, I need to buy myself a yoga mat and get to it.

Also, I've decided to start playing around more with my makeup. I'll do more formal product reviews in a week or so after I've played more, but I've gotten a bunch of cheap, colorful samples from Aromaleigh and am trying to bust out of my all pinky neutrals all the time routine. Here's today's eye, with cool purples and gold (to match my cool shirt, natch).

ETA, makeup notes: Eyes: Aromaleigh eyeshadows in Party Dress (gold), Campanula (heathery purple), and Viviane (bronzey violet). Cheeks: Aromaleigh pure rouge in Verve. Lips: um, an old LE MAC lipglass in a pinky shade.

I got mostly eye samples, a few cheek, and a few lip. I'll do full reviews next week once I've played some more. But be forewarned: if you like paying with paypal, checkout might be a NIGHTMARE for you.

Aromaleigh and Bare Essentials are both mineral brands, and from what I've heard, they're really similar. I'm trying out a bunch of vivid colors right now just for the fun of it, but I don't know how much will stick. I'm so used to neutrals by now that whenever I put on darker or brighter eyeshadow, I feel like I have SO MUCH makeup on!

Black. White-blond. Blue and Green on my whole head (I've done tips). Bright lemon yellow. Other than that, it's been every color I can think of.
